You will be able to pull yourself out of yourself. The effects will be completely different, so when we get established in another condition for longer, the effects change.Īnd when you are back up the ass of self, you will not have to call a divine proctologist. Wilson also mentioned that when we sincerely took such a position, we will be established in that position. Wilson wrote a statement in the Big Book on page 30 about how the disease is progressive “over any considerable period we get worse.” So is recovery it is progressive, too, and it keeps getting better. Well, the flip will not be as high, and the flop will not be as deep. “Okay, so what happens when I get to that place and fall back into self-management or the dilemma of identification with self again? Another big flip-flop.” The self will have made the decision, but you will not follow it, and then you will recognize the emperor has no clothes, and more gets revealed. And even though self will still make decisions, there will not be any actions based on those decisions.

Then there can be a loss of interest in it. The when is now, and how is when you see self as not you. The $64,000 question is, when do you get past the bondage of self? We are all looking for that spiritual shift, getting to that other place, the place of not selfing.
